Welcome to the website of the Obuda University Innovation Management Doctoral School! 

I think it is a well-known fact for all of us that nowadays we live in a world where change is not an exception, but a constant factor.  Today, innovation is not only an option, but a necessity. Effective management is the framework that enables us to create real value from new ideas.  The mission of our doctoral school is to train researchers and professionals who are able to provide novel, sustainable answers to complex problems, based on the close cooperation of these two fields. Innovation management is by its very nature a multidisciplinary field, which is also reflected in the program of our Doctoral School. We believe that truly significant breakthroughs are born at the border of scientific fields – where different points of view, methods and ways of thinking meet and reinforce each other. Our Doctoral School is an open, agile and collaborative environment.

We strive to make our students not just followers, but shapers of the innovation processes of the future. We support initiative, encourage critical thinking and give space to try out new ideas – be it scientific research, industrial collaborations or social innovation. As a leader, my goal is to build an inspiring professional community where knowledge sharing, partnership and continuous renewal are core values. I believe that innovation is not a solitary activity, but a joint creation – and all our students and partners are key players in this process.
