Quality Assurance
IMDI Quality Assurance
The quality assurance system of the doctoral schools (DI) at Obuda University is based on relevant legislation, in particular Act CCIV of 2011 and related government decrees. The system is in line with the requirements of the Hungarian Higher Education Accreditation Committee and the ESG 2015 guidelines, which are based on the PDCA principle.
Quality assurance in doctoral programs is based on the following principles: professional oversight, transparency, feedback, individual accountability, documentation, efficiency, and practical applicability. In line with these principles, the system ensures the continuous monitoring and improvement of the operation of doctoral schools.
The operational tasks of quality assurance are coordinated by the DI secretary or their deputy, while the DI director is responsible for implementing the quality policy, setting quality objectives, and monitoring their fulfillment. The head reports annually to the EDHT on the operation of the system and the results achieved.
Quality assurance covers two main areas: the continuous evaluation of the doctoral training process and the monitoring of the quality requirements of degree conferral procedures. Doctoral schools are linked to the institutional quality assurance system through the EDHT, ensuring a continuous flow of information and uniform operation.
